PREDICTABLE EXCELLENCE
IN ESTHETIC FIXED
PROSTHODONTICS
This presentation will cover:
• All-ceramic systems from Alumina to Zirconia will be
presented and compared to traditional and alternative
metal-ceramic restorations for properties of strength,
esthetics and ease of handling
• Clinical trials on all-ceramic crown and bridge
systems are offered to support use of the systems in
private practice.
• CAD/CAM fabrication technologies for zirconia
substructures and conventional ceramics are illustrated
• Selection criteria and indications for the various
all-ceramic systems
• Current principles for restoration of endodontically
treated teeth
• Rationale for and tooth preparation designs for
various ceramic restorations and minimally invasive
tooth preparations are demonstrated
•Designs for veneers, partial veneers, anterior
crowns, posterior crowns, onlays and posteri
or partial veneer crowns
• Tooth preparation designs and techniques for full
crown all-ceramics
• Patient evaluation, esthetic analysis, occlusal
analysis, smile design, diagnostic casts and diagnostic
waxups
• Selection criteria for the most appropriate ceramic
material and cement to match existing teeth
• Improved shade selection techniques using both the
eye and digital technology as well as dentist-technician
communication
• Soft tissue management in the esthetic zone -
maintenance and enhancement of the interdental
papilla, ovate pontic design and techniques for natural
looking bridges
• Use of soft-tissue lasers for tissue contouring
