MANAGING COMPLEX CASES
In complex cases all the fields of dentistry have to work
together. This presentation will discuss which
examinations and documentation are necessary to
arrive at a diagnosis and treatment-planning. The
presentation deals with all the major topics:
• How do we deal with the occlusion?
• How are we managing wear on teeth?
• When do we extract a tooth because of endodontic
reasons and place an implant?
• When do we extract a tooth because of periodontal
reasons and place an implant?
• What do we know about implants?
• Can we eliminate problems with implants, for
example periimplantitis.
