The Colorado Prosthodontic Society Board of Directors and I would like to welcome you to the 2009-2010 Seminar Series. Our continuing education program of six seminars includes speakers from truly diverse professional, academic, and cultural backgrounds.
Our first speaker on September, 14 is Dr. Joseph Massad. Dr. Massad will provide his Top 10 list for consistent success in both removable and implant retained removable prosthodontics. As we all recognize, occlusion in restorative dentistry either makes you or breaks you. Dr. DeWitt Wilkerson will teach us how occlusion necessarily integrates into the practice of “Complete Dentistry”. Before we break for the holidays, Dr. Raymond Bertolotti will describe the many compelling clinical benefits for utilizing adhesion rather than mechanical retention for both porcelain and metal restorations.
The 2010 seminar series begins with Lee Culp, CDT. Many of our past speakers have showcased his laboratory work in their presentations and now we have the opportunity to gain knowledge from the perspective of a master technician on how to recreate the natural harmony of function and esthetics. Dr. Michael Perry provides us the opportunity to involve all the members of our dental team when he presents on two important topics in dental practice management. First, he discusses methods for successful case presentations and then we focus on strategies for freeing your practice from contracts with dental insurance companies. Ending the series we continue our commitment to bringing you the best international speakers by introducing Dr. Arthur B. Novaes, Jr. He will lecture us on research driven topics in Periodontolgy and Implant Dentistry.
In our 90th year as a prosthodontic society it is my sincere desire to provide you and all the members of your dental team with new knowledge and insight to better serve your patients.
